Should I Buy Now or Later–Buyers’ Dilemma

By | July 4th, 2013|An Agent's Life, Beach Cities, Buyer Tip, Front Page, Palos Verdes|

In my little niche of the Los Angeles real estate market (that would be the South Bay) home prices are on the rise.  Inventory remains low while demand remains high.  The first half of 2013 was a worst case nightmare scenario for many buyers as they faced multiple offers, overbids and were often eliminated from the pool of prospective buyers by the almighty cash offer.  Many buyers were sidelined as they watched prices creep higher and higher. To add to buyers' frustration level interest rates are now on the rise too.  Buyers are asking whether they should buy now [...]

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July weekend!  My plans include a family gathering, gardening and relaxation--no work is on the agenda other than a blog post or two. I'm sure the local South Bay beaches will be crowded with locals and visitors soaking up the sun and frolicking in the sea.  The above photo was taken while waiting for clients to arrive to view a lovely ocean view home in Malaga Cove.  It shows Rat Beach in Palos Verdes Estates, Torrance Beach and stretches on to the beaches of Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach.  I'm sure this stretch of sand will look [...]

Buyers must often set aside their quest for perfection (great location, great condition and positive cash flow) [...]

People move to Palos Verdes for many different reasons.  Many come for the award winning Palos Verdes Unified School District; others come for the spectacular ocean and city light views.  Equestrians are delighted to find a wide variety of horse properties available.  The natural beauty of hills and ocean vistas send a tantalizing invitation to prospective homeowners to call this gorgeous peninsula home. Currently the least expensive single-family home for sale on the Palos Verdes Peninsula is listed for $599,900.  The property is a short sale, has three bedrooms and is located in the Eastview nieghborhood in Rancho Palos [...]
