June gloom arrived on schedule with its heavy morning marine layer.  It's an accepted part of our weather life on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and surrounding coastal beach cities of Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan.  The second week produced a few unexpected showers and humidity more in keeping with the years we spent in Florida and Maryland.  So far, June is full of surprises.
