It’s the Year-End Sale for South Bay Homes in Greater Los Angeles, Or Is It?

By | December 9th, 2015|An Agent's Life, Buyer Tip, Los Angeles Luxury Homes, Norma's Hot Buys, Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Peninsula, Rancho Palos Verdes|

We received our typical end of the year flurry of calls from buyers who are searching for an income property to add to their real estate portfolio or even a new primary residence.  Whether they had their pre-tax appointment with their accountant or decided it was time to upsize or downsize, the end month of December is decision time for many buyers.   Although the holidays are often referred to as "the most beautiful time of the year" they can also be the busiest time of the year for sellers, buyers and their agents.  Sellers who are anxious to receive [...]

Rolling Hills Horse Property–Best Buys

By | May 8th, 2015|Buyer Tip, Front Page, Horse Property, Lifestyle in Palos Verdes, Norma's Hot Buys, Palos Verdes, Palos Verdes Peninsula, Rolling Hills|

With only 12 Rolling Hills residences currently for sale, and many of those not suitable or set up for horses, it can be challenging to find a property that is a winner for both humans and horses.  My two current favorites are 10 Georgeff Road and 3 Appaloosa Lane. 10 Georgeff Road feels like "Old Rolling Hills" with its rambling ranch style and basic horse facilities.  The bones are good, and with some updating a horse or two could be quite happy here overlooking the riding trails.  There's a  Queen's Necklace and city lights view for humans to enjoy, and [...]

Rolling Hills–Hot Buy!

By | February 6th, 2013|Front Page, Horse Property, Lifestyle in Palos Verdes, Norma's Hot Buys|

Rolling Hills, CA It's hard to find a hot buy in a "hot market" with high demand and low inventory, but last night Norma Toering & Team showed 30 Chuckwagon in Rolling Hills and were delighted with what we discovered.  At $1,450,000 we were expecting to find a fixer, and we did, but it's a fixer with loads of potential and good bones already in place.   The four bedrooms are large, the living room has a beamed cathedral ceiling and an over-sized fireplace.  There's a gorgeous city lights view out the front door and the backyard has [...]

Rolling Hills House Deserves a Second Look–Hot Buy – (Sold)

By | April 19th, 2012|Buyer Tip, Front Page, Norma's Hot Buys, Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills|

$4,750,000 - *This one sold, call for more of Norma's top picks. The Tuesday broker open house tour in Palos Verdes had far more homes open than an agent could possibly view in the two-hour time slot; viewing priorities were definitely in order.  First, and foremost, I view properties for current clients.  Second in pecking order are new listings with 'Homes I missed the first time around' at the tail end of the list. Routing saved 9 S. Middleridge Lane from being missed again.  It is conveniently located near Rolling Hills main gate on Palos Verdes Drive North and it made [...]
