My Ship Came In

My clients came bearing gifts–very special gifts from China.  There was a lovely green tea cake from their layover in Tokyo, a beautiful wood box and scroll (another post in the making) and the ship with three sails pictured above.

Each of the three sails carries a special wish for success in business endeavors.  One sail carries with it the wish for a smooth journey (their transactions encounter rough seas, but we managed to sail through it).  Huge success is the tiding sent by yet another sail and continuous wealth is the final wish delivered by the last sail.

The ship took center stage on my file cabinet and I am thankful for the thoughtfulness and good wishes delivered with it.
