Palos Verdes market snapshots for April 2018:

During a recent conversation with a mortgage broker who was purchasing one of my listings, he commented he was advising “everyone” to sell now. Inventory is low; prices have more than recovered from the recession a decade ago. I will add real estate tends to rise and fall on a ten-year cycle. Hmm, the market is always speaking to us. The statistical numbers show it’s a great time to be a seller in this Palos Verdes real estate market.

Buyers, don’t despair, instead, consider the value of owning property in one of the most desirable locations in the South Bay of Los Angeles. The coastal location and stellar schools, both public and private, will always cushion the fall in a down market. There are still good buys and savvy purchases to be made in this market by engaging a skilled agent who knows the market and can negotiate smart and hard on your behalf.
